Overview
The concept is based on energy efficiency and rational maintenance of shared spaces. Solar canopies over guest parking and solar elements in the fence are intended to partly cover the territory's electricity needs. The houses are prepared for the installation of individual solar power plants, so that future owners can develop the energy independence of their homes.
Solution
Special attention is paid to water. The concept provides for collecting and storing rainwater for irrigating green areas. An open drainage system and permeable parking surfaces will help water drain naturally, reducing the area of continuous asphalt and the heating of surfaces in summer. The town's landscaping relies on local, drought-resistant plants that need less watering and intensive care. A central fountain with a closed water circulation cycle will complement the public space and contribute to a more comfortable microclimate in the warm season. In WUNDER VILLAGE, the ecological approach is built in at the level of territory planning. Its practical result is economical consumption of energy and water, lower maintenance costs for shared areas, and a comfortable environment to live in for many years.
