Reconstruction
Second Life
Reconstruction of a private house in Koncha-Zaspa. Having breakfast with a view of the pines, spending evenings on the terrace, and feeling the calm of the forest even at home. This connection with nature became the foundation of the project.

Overview
Our task was to renovate a house with a 25-year history, make it comfortable for modern life, and blend it harmoniously into its surroundings. The solution is based on reconstruction that preserves the existing structures, which lets us use the building's potential, reduce the need for new materials, and cut the volume of construction waste.
Solution
Laconic volumes and a sloped roof form a restrained silhouette among the pines, while light facades and wooden accents support the natural palette of the site. Large windows let in daylight and make the forest part of everyday life. A terrace with seating areas and a dining table extends the living space outdoors. An underground room provides additional usable area while keeping the above-ground volume compact. The interior features clay plaster, which helps regulate humidity, and wood, which adds warmth and pleasant-to-the-touch textures. Natural materials and restrained colors connect the interior with the forest surroundings, creating a coziness you want to feel every day.
